Whilst large sums of money have been devoted to address the Child and Adolescent Mental Health, the impact has been minimal. IMET2000 has decided to take part in those efforts by initiating Child and Adolescent Mental Health program here in Palestine. Prof. Colin Green, IMET2000 CEO, and his wife started their efforts in October 2008 with a visit to Dr. Taysir Dr Taisir Abdallah, Head of the Child Institute of Al-Quds University his work in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). During the meeting, evaluation of the current causes of minimal impact has been discussed with the ideas proposed to initiate the program.
